Dr. Liu presents research at 248th ACS National Meeting & Exposition

Dr. Yaolin Liu, Postdoctoral Research Associate in Environmental Engineering, presented her research titled “Membranes Functionalized with Graphene Oxide Nanosheets to Impart Antibiofouling Properties” at the 248th ACS National Meeting & Exposition at the Colorado Convention Center (Denver, CO) on March 22, 2015. Dr. Liu is a member of Dr. Kimberly Jones’ research group at Howard University. Her featured work leads a collaborative effort between the Jone’s group and our research group to investigate the interactions between nanoparticles and microbes to gain a mechanistic understanding of the toxicity effects of nanomaterials on the natural ecosystem.
