BEDD Research featured @ 2019 US-Africa Forum on Nanotechnology Convergence for Sustainable Energy, Water and Environment

Ms. Tafadzwa Chigumira (BEDD MS student) and Dr. Tao Wei (assistant professor of chemical engineering) attended the NSF-supported “US-Africa Forum on Nanotechnology Convergence for Sustainable Energy, Water and Environment” held at Johannesburg, South Africa, on August 2019.

The forum brought together academics working in nanotechnology and nanoscience to address issues of energy, water and environmental sustainability from around the country, sub-Saharan Africa and the US to share their research, discuss new ideas and to meet and establish collaborations.

The forum was hosted by the Nanotechnology and Water Sustainability Research Unit, College of Science, Engineering and Technology, University of South Africa.

Tafadzwa presented her research work, and Dr. Wei served as a panelist at the forum.
